SLO:
Knjiga There’s History in All Men’s Lives prinaša razprave o biografiji kot enem ključnih načinov razumevanja zgodovine in posameznika v njej.

ENG:
There’s History in All Men’s Lives explores biography as a key historiographical genre and examines its role in contemporary humanities research. The volume brings together contributions by international scholars working in the fields of biographical studies, history, and cultural heritage.
At its core, the book addresses fundamental questions about the relevance of biography today: whether it still serves primarily to establish individual merit and historical significance, or whether its value lies in its narrative forms, research methods, and interpretative potential.
The contributions also discuss major biographical projects, the development of national biographical lexicons, and the impact of digital humanities, including new forms of data visualization and interconnected cultural heritage resources.
By combining theoretical reflection with case studies, the book offers a comprehensive insight into the evolving nature of biography and its continued importance in understanding both individual lives and broader historical processes.
